About the Croatian Society for the Protection of Audiovisual Performing Rights - AVIP
AVIP is a non-profit association of audiovisual artist performers with the task and goal of collective realization and protection of the rights of audiovisual artist performers in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights and the approval of the State Institute for Intellectual Property of the Republic of Croatia.
Members of AVIP can be all domestic and foreign audiovisual artists and performers who authorize AVIP to protect their rights through a special power of attorney.
AVIP also protects the rights of foreign audiovisual artists performing in the Republic of Croatia on the basis of reciprocal agreements with related foreign organizations for the collective protection of audiovisual performing rights, based on the Law on Copyright and Related Rights and international treaties and conventions accepted and ratified by the Republic of Croatia.
It is assumed that AVIP has powers of attorney for all domestic and foreign audiovisual artists performing collective exercise of rights for which AVIP is authorized, except for the rights holder who has expressly informed AVIP in writing that he does not exercise his rights.

Agreements on mutual representation
AVIP concluded an international agreement on mutual representation with: AISGE, Spain
